“It took me years to realise that painting wasn't about making pictures.
The more I painted, the more it became a place where I could slow down and simply be myself. Away from comparison and expectation, I discovered that I wasn't painting subjects. I was painting feelings.
That's why my work doesn't belong to one style. Sometimes a feeling becomes a landscape. Sometimes it finds its way into an animal. Sometimes it can only be expressed through abstraction. The subject is never the starting point. The feeling is.
Over time I realised I wasn't creating paintings simply to tell my story. I was creating them to awaken something in yours. I hope each piece becomes a place where you can pause, reflect and recognise something within yourself that perhaps had been forgotten.
In a world that constantly asks us to fit in, achieve more and become someone else, my paintings offer a quiet invitation to return to yourself. To discover your own meaning, your own memories and your own truth.

That's where my work begins. Not with a detailed plan, but with a feeling. Sometimes it's a particular quality of light, a moment in nature, or something I've experienced that stays with me until it finds its place on the canvas.
Each painting develops slowly, layer by layer. I leave room for the unexpected, allowing the materials to guide the process as much as my original idea. It's often those unplanned moments that give a painting its character.
I don't paint subjects for their own sake. I paint the feeling they leave behind. My hope is that when a painting finds its place in your home, it becomes more than something to look at. It becomes something you return to, discovering something new each time.
